Some key distinctions for us are:

  1. No surprise costs.  If you checkout via our website, you know how much your initial charges are and we clearly state the price of any add-on service.
  2. No Setup or other Hidden Fees.  We’ve heard the stories too.  Some shops charge mysterious additional fees that are not usually explained.  We simply don’t do that.
  3. We include Batting in our cost per sq. in., specifically an 80/20 Polyester/Cotton Blend.  We also offer other choices for your special circumstances.
  4. We NEVER miss deadlines.  Yes, we said NEVER.  We understand the pressure that puts on us, and we welcome it. We’ve been told our deadlines are reasonable, usually a 3-4 week turnaround if not otherwise communicated.
  5. We offer a 7 Business Day Turnaround Time.  We don’t know too many places that offer this service.  We do it to accommodate those of you who have more urgent needs for a particular project.
  6. We are highly collaborative.  We email/text you from the time we receive your quilt through completion.  We partner with you to make sure we’re always meeting your expectations.

For the fastest turnaround time, we advise you to:

  1. Visit our website
  2. Select Your Quilt Design
  3. Enter the Length & Width of your Quilt
  4. Answer the Follow-On Questions, i.e. Batting Options, Thread Color, Binding/Trimming Options, and Rush Order decision
  5. Submit your order to enter our queue immediately


Regarding Payment Options, if you are local to Frisco, TX, you’ll have the option at Checkout to either Pay Now or Pay Later.  Pay Now is the only option for those not local.  We accept all major credit cards.  If you select Pay Later, we ask that you pay in full when your Quilt is ready for pickup.  We accept Check or Credit card in-person.  We do not have cash at our location.

Finally, deliver your quilt to us. You will receive a PDF file attachment via email after submitting your order that will include all details.

Yes.

  1. Our standard quilting charge is 3 cent per square inch (length x width)
  2. Batting is included, a locally sourced 80/20 Polyester/Cotton Blend
  3. Thread Choice and Color Option are included.  We offer 20+ various colors.
  4. All Quilt Designs are included.  Some websites charge extra for “Premium” Quilt Designs.  We have access to 1,000+ Quilt Designs and all are included.  Our most popular choices are listed via our website. If there’s a Quilt Design you prefer, please select the “I’ll Bring My Own” Quilt Design option.  If you prefer that we decide for you, then select “Quilters Choice” as your Quilt Design.

Extra Charges Apply For:

  • Piecing your Backing or Batting into one piece.  $25/seam.
  • Binding & Trimming Services. $99/flat rate
  • Special Order Batting Options.  Ranges from $10 – $18/yard.  We will quote the most current pricing to you.
  • Rush Orders.  Flat charge of $99 added to your order.

Yes, we do.

We now offer a 7 business day completion option for those of you who have a more urgent need.

An additional fee of $150 will be added to your Order.

We’ll complete your Quilt within 7 business days from the day we receive it to the day we prepare to ship it back to you (or arrange for a local pickup). 

Disclaimer: Please note, we do not quilt on weekends, we reserve that time for connecting with family.  Also, this time frame is not inclusive of additional time required for trimming, binding, return shipping, or other delays beyond our control. 

Yes.

Included in our price is a locally sourced 80/20 Polyester/Cotton Blend Batting.

Other options for an additional fee include:

  • 100% Cotton
  • 100% Wool
  • All Black
  • All White

And if you prefer, if you have your own Batting, please include it when you deliver your quilt to us.  Please make sure your Batting is in one piece and is at least 4″ longer on all sides than your Top.  We charge $25/seam, if you need us to do this for you.

If you want to know the exact math, please see my explanation below; otherwise, the easiest step to take is to send me 1 yard of fabric and we’ll send the unused portion back to you. 

To calculate binding you need to calculate the linear inches.  Add all 4 sides together and multiply that number by the price.  You will need to provide the fabric if you want us to bind your quilt.  

Calculating How Much Fabric To Provide

(Width of quilt x 2) plus (Length of quilt x 2) plus (15″extra) = Total inches needed

(Total inches needed) divided into (  the width of fabric you are going to use for your binding. most are 42″)

Example

Lets say your quilt is 80″X 90″

160″ + 180″ + 15″ = 355″

355″‘ / 42″ 

8.45 total strips 

Binding is cut 2.5″ 

We round the 8.45 strips to 9 strips.

9 strips x 2.5″ = 22.5″ – the total yardage you need to send for the binding on a quilt size 80 X 90.  

If this is too confusing, just send a yard to be safe and all excess will be sent back to you!

At Checkout, you’ll have two payment options: Pay Now and Pay Later

For Pay Now, we accept all major credit cards.  If you select this option, you’ll be charged up front.

For Pay Later, we accept Check or Credit when your quilt is completed.  Please note, we do not have cash onsite, so we do not have change.

Both Payment Options place you in our queue after successfully checking out on our website.  If you decide to wait to start your order when you deliver your quilt, then you’ll be added to our queue at that time.

Pay Now is the only payment option offered via our website.  We accept all major credit cards.

No.  We do not have any pets.

To avoid additional charges, we ask all Quilt Owners to do the following prior to delivering their quilt(s) to us:

  1. Accurate Measurement.  Our charges are largely based on the sq. in. (Length x Width) of your quilt.  Please take accurate measurements.  We will advise if our measurements are different than yours.
  2. Backing in One Piece and 4″ longer on all sides. Make sure your Backing is in one piece and is 4″ longer on all sides than your Top.  Example – If your quilt top is 40″ x 50″ your backing must be a minimum of 48″ x 58″.
  3. Binding in One Piece and 4″ longer on all sides.  If you are supplying your own Binding, then same as our Backing comments above, please make sure your Binding is in one piece and is 4″ longer on all sides than your Top.  Example – If your quilt top is 40″ x 50″ your Binding must be a minimum of 48″ x 58″.
  4. Loose Threads Clipping.  Please clip all loose threads.
  5. Hard Items Removal.  Please remove all hard items on your quilt, i.e. Buttons, Zippers, Snaps, Safety Pins etc.
  6. Squaring.  Please make sure your quilt is squared prior to delivery.  While this may seem like a trivial request, it allows us to turnaround your quilt faster.

We’re not able to quilt through hard items on your quilt, i.e. Buttons, Zippers, Snaps, Safety Pins etc.  If you have any of these types of items on your quilt, please remove them prior to delivering the quilt to us.  You can reattach after we’ve quilted.
